Care & Maintenance

Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for this fan.

FAN CLEANING

• Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
• Do not allow water to drip on or enter into fan housing.
• Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
• Do not use any of the following as a cleaner: gasoline, thinner, or benzene

FAN STORAGE

It is recommended to use the below guidelines when storing this fan in the off season.

• Store in a cool dry place.
  
• Protect the fan head from dust.
  
• Use the original box from purchase for storage.
  
• Fully recharge the fan before storage.
  
• If stored for extended periods of time, fully recharge the fan every 6 months.
  
• Before storing the fan, make sure the Water Reservoir is completely dry and there is no water left inside the fan.
  
• To empty the fan, remove the Fan Head and the Water Hose from the Water Reservoir. Tilt the Fan Head 90 degrees to ensure the outlet faces the water reservoir. Press and hold the Misting Button until the ’Pr’ symbol appears on the Display Panel to activate Cleaning Function. The water will begin to drip through the Water Dripping Outlet and will stop after a short period. Next, place the Fan Head onto the reservoir with the Misting Nozzles facing downward. Allow the fan to run until no mist is emitted from the fan.
• Once this process is complete, the fan will automatically turn off.
  
• To store the fan, secure the hose in the designated groove. Place the fan head inside the reservoir. Once you hear an audible click, the reservoir is secured with the storage latches.
• Use the handle on the bottom of the reservoir tomove the fan.
