Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for your window fan.

FAN CLEANING

Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
Do not allow water to drop on or into the fan housing.
Use only a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
Do not use harsh chemicals such as gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner.
Do not attempt to remove the fan blade.

FAN BLADE CLEANING

Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
Remove the front grill by unsnapping the clips around the perimeter.
Clean the fan blade, front and rear grills with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
Securely fasten the front grill to the rear grill by snapping the clips together over the perimeter.

FAN HEAD AND BASE CLEANING

Using a soft , moist cloth, with or without a mild soap solution, carefully clean the fan base and head.
Use CAUTION around the housing area.
Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water.

FAN STORAGE

Store the fan in a clean, dry location between seasons or when not in use for an extended period of time.
Keep the fan protected from dirt and dust during storage.
